Mr Bug, a leading provider of insect-based dog treats, is proud to announce a new sustainability initiative for the month of March. In addition to their delicious and nutritious dog treats made with sustainable protein sources, the company will now include lavender seeds in all their variety boxes ordered during the month of March.
Lavender is a fragrant and beautiful flowering plant that is known for attracting bees and other beneficial insects to the garden. This plant is also a great addition to any eco-conscious garden as it requires very little water and maintenance, making it a low-impact choice for gardeners.
"We are thrilled to be able to offer our customers the opportunity to enhance their gardens with these beautiful lavender seeds as well as treating their dogs with our Bug Bites,"
said Conal, the company's founder.
"At Mr Bug, we are committed to sustainability and we believe that every little action we take can make a difference. By adding these seeds to our variety boxes, we hope to encourage our customers to make their gardens a more eco-friendly space which their dogs will enjoy!"
Mr Bug’s insect-based dog treats are made with mealworms bred in the UK which are a sustainable protein source for dogs, not only are they a nutritious option for dogs but also have a much lower carbon footprint compared to traditional animal protein sources.
The company's commitment to sustainability extends beyond their products to the packaging and shipping process as well. All their packaging is 100% biodegradable, and their shipping materials are made from recycled materials.
Customers who order Mr Bug’s variety boxes during the month of March will receive a packet of lavender seeds to plant in their garden.
